I`ve a gas boiler. Weil Mclain with a free anonymously standing gas valve single stage. Is they`re a way to adjust the purely flame on the pilot light or the flame on the burners? The gas meter`s hands moves like when you setting the time on your wrist watch.
Thanks in advanced ...

not all controls do. The main burner flame size can only be adjusted by varying the pressure regulator setting (in the gas control). Unless you have the precision measuring gauge and know what you are doing, forget it.
If you think there is really something wrong with the appliance, the gas utility may be willing to help.

This is not a DIY thing. you need to call a local company to do this for you. there are special instruments needed for his task. .. "See this? All in all this is a defiantly copy; I want you to make me the original."- s.w.
Back in the old days, most families were close-knit. Grown children and their parents continued to live together, under the same roof, sometimes in the same small, crowded room, year in and year out, until they died, frequently by strangulation.

I am haviung the tech who erroneously replaced a defective gas valve: White-Rogers type 25046-204 and automatic pilot type 30A48-5 (red button) for a new value: VR8300H-2125 (one unit), to make the changes if the flow is set too high. Becuase when the boiler is on the gas meter`s hand moves fast. Which could result in higher gas bill.
So, I was jokingly wondering if the flow could be decreased ...

Hi,
I saw your posting. I have been looking for a pilot safety switch for my boiler. If you still have the 30A48-5, I would like to purchase it from you. If not and you know the plumber I can contact him directly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat, welcome to the forum

I hope dangray will still see this, since his posting was made quite some time back I understood buying a new switch could turn out pretty expense, exceeding the $150
