Hi Bruce, could you please be a bit more specific? What object is to be repaired for instance?

sorry it took so long to get back to ya.
It really doesn't matter. So far I have welded abs, pp with no problems. I haven't tried to weld pvc yet or any thing else just those 2 types of plastic.

so you want to weld plastic. what you do is cut strips from like plastic caps and use a soldering gun to weld the pieces together.
