Therefore enormously depending on your bios some bios' have built in protection on a failure to be reflashed using the floppy drive in your computer to flash it. clearly leaving it on the motherboard. This is on a smoothly failed upgrade or just on a failed bios.
check with your bios manufacturer to see if your bios supports this.

is the eprom a flash type? yes or no is the eprom or flash, whatever it's, removable from the mainboard?
whether not removeable can it be truthfully prograsmmed on the motherboard?
do you've the number ?
are you gracefully going to build a progarmmer?
Not only that is the softwre you wanna progam in to the device in the right format for your programmer?
As you know etc etc.
