Hi
I have been doing a lot of work on fixing up cars lately, involving a lot of painting, spray painting, sanding and so on. I am working with a mask and eye goggles, but its time I get more serious protection.
what are recommended systems that I can intall (or have installed that will protect me from the damage)
Thanks

You can use a mask with canister filters, or you can a full face mask with a filter on the back.

Ditto mytoyotasucks.

I invested in a face mast canister style respirator. (~$30) plus a painting bunny suit (>$10), and some shielded goggles (to cover my glasses, and protect the side form splashes). I wear a hat too (cause my hair has it's own color already), All are avail at The Home Depot or similar.

BTW, they have different canisters for different work, so get the canister which filters the smallest particles you'll be working w/ (some are just sanding, some are painting/chemical too...) the smaller filter will work with larger particles (such as from sanding), but not vice versa most times they're a little more expensive...

Better than getting Angiosarcomas (from exposure to PVC dust) or other nasty crap...

Of course a good respirator is worth it's weight in gold... I even put mine on to clean up nasty dog messes since the filter cuts out the smell completely...
