R56W36 while tv was on a screeching noise came out and the unit turned off. it turns back on and shuts down within seconds. 5 years old.

SO KNOW YOUR A TV TECH.WHAT KIND OF TV CRT.LCD,PLASMA?????????.WHO MADE IT WHAT SIZE SCHREEN.I GUESS A 36 INCH ACCORDING TO MODEL NUMBER.IS IT A PROJECTION TV.SEE THIS IS WHAT I MEAN YOU DO NOT GIVE DETAILS.PROBLY POWER SUPPLY FAILURE.CAN YOU DO CIRCUIT BOARD REPAIR OR NOT.THEIR ARE NOT SERVICABLE PARTS. REGULAR LAYMEN CAN NOT FIX.OR ARE YOU EXPERT ON THIS TO.
