Just read an email about this from 3 years ago, and, ain't no better now-a-days. Had to do a smog check here in California, and the hose needed to be replaced to pass the test. Now I know I live in the land of fruits and nuts, but someone has really gotta be jerking my chain when they tell me that the OEM replacement part costs $525.00!!! eNDED UP COSTING ME CLOSE TO $1k for a gosh darn smog check.
