I HAVE A 36" RCA HOME THEATRE ,THAT I HAVE OWN SINCE 1997.IT'S A MODEL# F3575IMB , MANFAC, DATE OCT,1994 , & SER# 441666115. ABOUT A WEEK AGO MY DAUGHTER TURN ON THE TV, THE GREEN PWR ON INDICATOR CAME ON (AS ALWAYS) THEN THE PICTURE CAME UP & A SPLIT SECOUND LATER THE TV SHUT RIGHT OFF AGAIN,THIS CONTINUES FOR ABOUT 3 TIMES,THEN THE TV REMAINS OFF TILL WE PRESS THE PWR-ON BUTTON AGAIN. IT'S BEEN A GREAT TV FOR THE TIME WE HAVE HAD IT & I'M SURE I CAN GET A FEW MORE YEARS OUT OF IT,IF I HAD A SCHEMATIC OR AN GOOD IDEAL OF WHICH DIRECTION I NEED TO TAKE TO FIX IT? ANY & ALL IDEALS WOULD BE WELCOMED, THANKS.

I don't know about the 'little info' thing, bigblock but a schematic is most reliable obtaining from the manufacturers

rca has been a big problem.i see this all day long you have a problem in switch mode power supply.it also is noted for the high voltage circuit can cause this.this can not be fixed in home has to be shopped and hope you can get parts.theirs is no longer support.rca is own by an investment company they have a few other tv lines also no backup support.you by it you own it. thats their answer. i have a few choice other names for rca but not on this web site if you get my drift.so good luck hope can get it fixed.

No back-up support?? I mean, can this be legal? Isn't there a law in the US where manufacturers are obligated to at least supply spare parts for a certain period of time?

OK, 7 years. I suppose that's reasonable. Still one would expect a tv to work for more than that and still have parts available if there are faulty ones. But OK. Probably may not expect too much.....
