The tenants of my rental condo say that the refrigerator isn't getting "very cold" and some of the meat in the freezer isn't as "frozen" as the rest of the meat is.


What could be the problem there?

RHCHomeowner, there are a few things to check:

is the evaporator fan motor working properly? Is the condenser fan motor working properly? Is the compressor working properly?

I haven't been over there, yet, to check it. But that sounds like a good possibility.

It's that expensive to repair?
