Hello, I need to remove, 1-2mm from a piece of glass for a fish tank lid, am I able to do this with sandpaper? Or should I give up and order another one????

Thank you.

Greetings Kirsten welcome to the Forum.

Glass is TOUGH stuff !

I'm not sure if you're talking about tapering the edge, or reducing a side, but, in either case Hand Sanding is going to take forever.

I've seen Belt Sanders used, but they had a very special Belt on them, and I'd suspect that they cost a lot, and it's possible you don't have access to a Belt Sander.

My best offer...Get a new one !

Have a good Day !
