Hi, I am new to this forum and am always into some form of repairing my own or other peoples tools. In this case it is a Habor Freight pressure washer with the brand name Chicago Power Tools on it. Does anyone know where one can find some parts for such an animal or is it just one of those throw-away things?
Thanks.

Maybe you could ask the shop it was bought at, or ring the phone # written on the guaranty?

Thanks Jeffie for the reply. I really should have done more reasearch at the time as ultimately I found on one of the Habor Freight pages a link to the parts manual, loaded it down and ordered the parts. In the meantime I did some Saharan engineering and fabricated a small seal from a water faucet gasket. I mounted it on a screw, put it in the drill press and carefully brought it to size with a new file. So far the pressure washer works again.

Oh you bet! There is the project of continuing to build the emergency generator, a work shed, getting the kit car out of storage and installing a dual Italian carburator, tending to the flowers, painting all the steel handrails.....
and, and...... ad infinitum
Of course there is the computer and some programs to be learned.........
Oh well, it's a hard life being retired.....and then there are no more vacations!
Take care and have fun......
