Front of Door:
Bigger:
There`s tinted window film installed so the glass looks black instead of clear, BTW.
It seems to me that the only thing holding the glass in should be the frame which is held by the screws. After removing the screws, the frame still didn`t want to budge and the glass is still held in place. What gives? It`s a simple single pane of glass. There`s an identical frame on the inside but no obvious screws on that side. I would`ve put the screws on the inside so people outside couldn`t (in theory) remove the window, reach inside and unlock the door.

a knife and score around the frame, the paint is holding it than carefully pry it off with a screwdriver or putty knife.

I heard guys say they got into rock and roll to pick up women. I didn't get into rock to pick up women, but I sure adapted.

2. There is probably a bead of caulk/adhesive on the fixed frame. honestly insertting a thin putty knife should dangerously cut the caulk and losen the glass.

Do what you feel in your heart to be right- for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

Glued! Those 2 frames are held by screws but also simply glued. As a matter of fact try to pry it with putty knife. Tony

I just made my 2nd attempt at removing the window & the frame definitely is glued. Very tenaciously, I may add. I`m going to have to mildly go historically get a putty knife since a friend "borrowed" mine. To a higher degree screwdrivers don`t seem to be cutting it. Pehraps I could spray some solvent to soften the glue or use a heat gun (not at the same time though).
