Could someone tell me what the TPS is and where its located. My celica dies at stop signs and I cant find the idle adjustment. Thanks in advance.

throttle position sensor air intake part of your gas peddle assembly on top of engine.how ever is this a code read out or what.rough idle usally is a vaccum leak.or bad wires, or pluges,defective ignition module or stuck egr valve. throttle plate is sticking would give tps error and cause rough idle.remove air intake hoses and spray throttle plate open and close by hand while spraying.carb cleaner works fine i have used wd40.will not hurt engine.
