Has anyone used scrapbooking products to do some interior decorating? It's my latest thing I'm trying to break into. I've always been a scrapbooker... back before it was a major trend, even! But I love frames that you can use scrapbooking materials to make. Does anyone have any photos? I'd love some inspiration!

Do you have any examples of what you are thinking?

My wife is into scrapbooking, but I can't grasp in my mind what you are talking about as far as using it for decorating.

Sure! I found this earlier today as I was trying to find some inspiration but I look at these things and I think "how on earth do they do that??" This is more for accents than anything else and can be hung on walls, etc.

Does that clear it up? I know it's kind of hard to explain it without a visual image!

Now I understand.

We don't have any examples around the house, but I'll run this past my better half. She is much more creative than I am and may have some ideas that I can post for you.

When I read your initial post, the first thing that came to mind was creating your own wallpaper border using skills learned by scrapbooking. I didn't come anywhere close to this.

Just getting back to you to let you know my wife hadn't thought about doing anything like this.

She is going to discuss it with some of her SB friends. They are usually pretty good about bouncing ideas off of each other. Of course you may have opened up a whole new world for them.

I'll keep you updated on anything they come up with.

I handed off information on how to join the site to my better half's group. Hopefully we'll see some additional ideas show up soon.

Awesome! I can't wait to see what she is able to do. It seems to be a new trend in decorating. Putting in a ton of personal touches like photos with homemade / altered frames, even hand beaded lampwork. I have basic knowledge of a lot of this type of stuff, but nothing this advanced. I'd love to see what other people come up with! Thanks for the posts!
