Segway stabilizer

Seriously, I want to be able to build
something onto the bottom of my Segway that
will let me press a button and (sort of
like a 12v version of the formula one cars
that get lifted up off the ground in the
pits) have the wheels of the Segway off the
ground. Formula one use pneumatic. I have
to build it into a 12v system.

I want it to be almost instantaneous, it
doesn't have to lift the Segway
necessarily--it could just anchor it it
place and prevent it from rolling away--
that would work too.

I've thought about a set of solenoids. I've
thought about pins that rotate 90 degrees
and touch the ground...nothing is the right
solution yet.

Help...?
