Hi Joe91, welcome to the forum

To obtain a schematic I advise you to contact the General Electric service department HERE (please click) - as I think that would be the most reliable source

That is a DC motor. The logic board controls and varies the speed of the motor. Two wires run the motor, two wires are the sensor that report to the computer how fast and if the motor is turning. LOTS of problems with this logic board.

Hello
I changed the logical board.
It restarted.
On the old board, the resistance R95 (2 ohms 1W) was cut, I replaced it by a resistance of 3W (thank you GE).

Thank you for your answer.

I have 6 yr old GE 25 side by side fridge freezer. Defrost heater ok but does not come on. got 86 ohms resistant between to feeds from logic board. On board r95 looks to be burnt out, is this relevant and if so what is its spec.

Parts list says board is wr55x10556 but mine looks slightly different. Any suggestions.

If the fan in the freezer does not turn, the resistance of 2 Ohms 1W ( R95) is probably cut ( classic bug of GE). Replace it by a resistance of 2 (two) Ohms 3 (three) Watts.
