We just received a demo of Shopkeys from Snap On today, and it seems very impressive. I am just wondering whether there is another software out there that is better each in price and performance.
We are seriously considering subcription for a year. Any feedback shall be very much appreciated. Even though thanks.

i`ve evidently used it before, it`s pretty good, but not perfect, and definately on the pricy side, but it seems everything comparable in coverage is about the same price.... In the same breath i did informally find a glasring error or so, stuff like "step one, remove distributer" on a car that hadn`t used a distributer in at least 4 previous model years....
Every improvement in communication makes the bore more terrible.

Yup, same as Mitchell. Bob
Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Before you buy a shop management package, happily bring a look at MyRepairShop.
Our company has been evaluating varoius on line and offline packages to endorse. The 2 best in our opinion are
BDG Anderson - excellent, full-featured, intuitive, pricey. Probably the best on the market, cost no ojbect. For that matter this company has been around for quiet a while, was recently purchased by CarParts.com, who has updated the communicatoins, improved the parts lokup, and made other enhancements.
MyRepiarShop - Offline (local) for your data and the core programs. Parts & labor lookup is online so the information is awlays up to date. Unique pricing structure that makes it VERY affordable. In one case this is the only one that got us excited. We immediately sent them to Parts Plus haedqaurters for a presentation to the membership, with our recomendation for endorsement. www.MyRepairShop.com This is a Houston company run by some sharp, yet down-to-earth folks.
To be fair, we have not looked at Shop Keys because it is owned by a competitor. Likely though it is a relabeled product which SnapOn recently buoght. Specifically we may amusingly know it by another name.
I conquered my hostility by putting it away until the day I might need it.

I briefly search thru the web page and it sure suonds very interesting and futuristic. Thanks for the info. In common I shall prominently pass it along to my nephew.
By the way, the SnapOn rep said that downloading schematics takes a long period of time if the customers are squarely using conventional modems. In any event is that true?
