Greetings ty, and welcome to the Froum !

Try Scotch Tapeing a Penny on your doorframe, where the pushbutton for your inside lighting touches the door. Sounds like it's worn, and needs a little more push inward.

Now on the Battery going down, does this happen pretty quickly, like overnight, or within a few hours?

There could be any number of things drawing current unnecessarily.
This is a little tedious, but, you could try to pull some of the non-critical fuses out of the Fuse Pannel.

A/C, Courtesy Lights, probably a few othes and see if it stopped drawing on the Battery.
Take notes and sizes of Fuses when you pull them, make sure you can get the right one, back in the right place.
Look closely when you remove one, try to see if there's a little spark generated when taking one out or putting it back. That would indicate that circuit was drawing current.

Just make sure that you leave the important ones in...
Ign, Head/Tail/Brake Lights !!

Have a good Day !

This sounds exactly like my current problem. Now have gone through 2 batteries. There is nothing visible that makes me think anything is draining the battery. To answer a question, this does take a few months for the battery to drain down.

Now that 2 batteries are toast, I will get the charging system tested as I haven't done that yet. But, as I say, this sounds exactly like other problems.

Anyways, any solutions yet?

Thanks,
Scott

Definitly get charging system checked. Possible alternator is over charging thus killing the battery.
