I have an old Sony Camcorder DCR-TRV520 that fails to turn on now. Used it a couple of months ago without any problems. I want to convert some tapes to DVD but at the moment the unit only powers up for a few seconds, indicates a low battery and then shuts down. The battery has a full charge and the power adaptor is connected. Appreciate any help that can be offered.

will it work without the battery. maybe the battery is bad.

It doesn't work with or without the battery.
