I have an old Sony Camcorder DCR-TRV520 that fails to turn on now. Used it acouple of months ago with any problems. I want to convert some tapes to DVD but at the moment the unit only powers up for a few seconds, indicates a low battery and then shuts down. The battery has a full charge and the power adaptor is connected. Appreciate any help that can be offered.

Have u tried taking the battery off, and just using the power cord??
