sony tv stand by blinking 9 times why?

is this like an IQ test question?

I'm afraid you are going to have to be a smidge more specific about the problem, and the equipment...

I'm assuming that your Sony TV blinks 9 times before going to stand by?

I have a sony KV-32FS120 television that was working fine. Now it will not come back on with button or remote. The led light flashes nine times pauses then repeats. I called sony products assistance but they said they had no code for nine flashes. Has anyone else had this code? Is there a cheap answer?

Nine blinks - Replace D 6116 and D 6301 on the "G" board, do not resolder as this will fix the problem temporary. Or Panel Module Error or Thermal Error. If it is intermittent 9 blinks, meaning sometimes the TV comes on and other times you get flashing, then change the switching regulator on the "G" board or check connections. Make sure the regulator is -12 or -13 (negitive)
