What I have is a 99 Dodge Caravan with a 3.3

When backing out of a parking spot then driving the van jerked and then wouldnt shift went into "limp mode" well I got it home and parked it till today I went to drive it around the block to the back of my house to work on the speed sensor and half way around it jerked again and i lost drive totally but reverse still works. So I drove it in reverse around the block and the started working on it. I replaced the out put speed sensor and disconected the battery this did not work so Im thinking the transmission is gone.

If someone could give me an idea want to do next it would help big time....Thank you for all the help ahead of time.....Chris

dodge caravan and plymouth voyager are the two biggest abortions on the road .of course its the tranny.alway is and alway will be.
the engine and tranny are mitsubishi eclipse car power trains.it has all it can do to work in a car.they put them it in a truck twice the weight.then dumbies put trailer hitches and a few heavy fat asses compound the problem.i had two of these in my shop doing the same thing .i suggest take it to a junk yard and walk away you will always have this problem next will be the engine.

lee I acocoaca president of chrysler on a late night talk show admitted these two van were a abortion.chrysler corp has no engineers they sub contract these job to anyone.with no experiance. thats the reason their in trouble to day cars is not worth a shit tucks also.
