I just recently installed a Stanley woodgrain fibreglass door. I stained the door and the all the trim around it with a Minwax gel stain.
Now my wife has decided that she doesn`t like the look of the white plastic trim that goes around the glass on the door and the sidelight. I haven`t tried to stain it yet - I`d like some advice.
It`s my guess that the gel stain won`t take to the plastic. At least, it won`t dry very well or to the same colour as it did on the door.
