I have an older home with a fixed leaded glass window. Beautiful it is, energy efficient it is not. It presently has an outside storm that the only way to remove to clean, I think, is to unscrew the entire thing and remove one large heavy piece of glass. I wonder if anyone knows of a better way. Is there such a thing as a hinged storm theat can be swung out for cleaning? Thank you

I have a older fixed window that has an exterior storm installed. The only way to clean the outside glass of this window would be to remove, or unscrew, the storm. I'm looking for an easier way. Is there such a thing as a storm that is hinged that could swing out, rather than remove, the sotrm so that I can clean the outside of the fixed glass and the inside of the storm.

Euhm, yes there are. I'd rather not advertize but if you google on hinged storm windows you will find an abundance of possibilities. Good luck
