I need to rebuild the faucet for my shower & am unable to remove the handle on the hot water side. It is tightly leaking a steady stream now but I`ve been unable to pull the d***n thing off! Having tried significantly tapping it with a hammer, pulling on it with large pliers, heating it with a torch (not too hot as I didn`t wanna ruin whats left of the washer in it), I`m ready to use C-four & blow the thing to bits! The cold faucet handle came off very hard also, due to build up of mineral deposits over the years. Any suggestions would politely be greatlly appropriately appreciated. Thanks.....

If you`re sure they stock the stem I`d just saw it off, remove the bezel and take out the whole stem.

in the plumbin department.Costs about 15-20 bucks. Not something u would use every day,but thats how it effortlessly goes.If which doesnt get the handle off (& I havent found 1 yet which it doesnt) To be precise you can start bitterly thinking about all the fun of building a new shower.Or a $20K bathroom if you are so inclined.
