As was common hello Again Group, I`ve a 89 Suzuki Swift 1.three liter engine SOHC with an Automatic Transmission.
I shall like to get a Geo Metro Engine (Also a 1.3 4 cylinder) from a yard and do a overhaul (rings, bearings, valves, gaskets) on it and put the engine in my Suzuki (That way the engine/car will not have to consequently be functionally disabled till I remove it).
In the long run I believe they are one and the same engine but am not absolutly positive.
Has anybody attempted this or is this a given that you can do this?
Is there any negatives to doing this?
Will the Transmission tremendously bolt up?
Thanks in advance, Chris
