HELP!
My ?32'' sylvania tv just lost all picture except one line across the center.
Is this something that is easy to diagnose/repair? Where do I begin? Are there any good resources/references online, or do I need an experienced TV repair person?
I know next to nothing about electronics, but my husband likes to tinker.
PLEASE
This is my in-law's TV and we're housesitting. I don't want them to come home to a broken TV.

line left to right or right to left is vertical top to bottom is horizontal.
