I just finished watching a movie, ejected the disk, and inserted the second movie. The TV instantly rejects the DVD. Tried others to make sure it wasn't the DVD -- same thing. Any ideas? This TV is just over a year old.

hard to say. any error messages like disk dirty or anything. are these factory DVDS or DVD-R or +r etc.

I had this happen on my apex dvd/cd unit also.the tray is not retracting in far enough to set door close switches.their a loading belt in front center (i thing on this model) under disc holder may have a dust cover over it .warning this belt is critical
has to be direct replacement part number.lenght diameter critical.clean pulleys with alcohol 90%proof to remove oiles from surfaces.
