Hi to all.


I bought an old refurbished tektronix 7633. It worked well for a few seconds, then goes turn off and only the fan was active.Now, it does not turn on (no green light and no other lights). Only fun is active when I press power button. if a recurring problem where I can try to start the check? Inside cards and cabling wires are very intricate.

Can you help me?

Hi
Best I can suggest is to look the "TEK" Yahoo group site as I'm not that conversant with scope's. You will also find the workshop manual invaluable for isolating the fault. It has to be a power supply line failure for it not to power up. The W/manual will help you Check/isolate the supplies (Google Boatanchor manuals). You should also find the pcb is marked up with the voltage rail values, look carefully round the power supply modulue.
