it has come to my attendtion that customer and clients on this web site. that i see a big problem with combo dvd/video tape.plus tv in these systems.the issue is that the micro prosser is one it runs both sides of the unit this also true when the units incorprate tv plus combo i would like to point out is the dvd and cd device will fail first.the eeprom chip holds the operating system and has lock feature conserning the laser if the laser fails system is permatly lock out. then system is useless.you are almost forced to one fix it or through it away or replace it. this type of home system has been tryed before in my 30yrs as a tech and engineer i have seen several attemps at this its not convieant and has failed everytime.me personally my system at home the units seperated one fails i either fix or replace it.and the rest of the system still works.

this editioral is my opinion only this should reflect your purchases or your like or dislikes seems a waste to disguard a system because on side fails.
you coments are welcome on this subject i would like to know how others feel about this.
