toro snowblower started yesterday, went to turn and made a loud grinding noise now won't start by recoil and electric start.

what to do

I have a Toro 3650 and the same thing happened to me after an hour of usage. I had a mechanic friend come take a look at it and he said that the engine seized up on me. He asked if I was running it "rich" with oil and I said no not really. He said he always runs his a little more rich with oil maybe my mixture was too light. Well I kept that one and he had a Toro CCR 2000 used that he sold me for $50. It seems to start right up. We shall see how well it throws the snow.
