my tv is showing 7 or 8 horizontal white lines across the top of the picture, and I was wondering if there is an easy fix for this, I,m no electrical genius, but I,m willing to try just about anything, it,s driving me nuts

Hi Pappy14, welcome to the forum I think you have defective filter capacitors in the vertical circuit. If you are not savvy with electronics it is better to get this fixed by a technician

you were right Jeffie, the tech took the tv to his shop to see how many capacitors it needs and said it would be about $50.00 to fix, plus service call and taxes it will be about $130 so thats not too bad. thanx for your help.
