My riding tractor abruptly shut off as I was mowing. It will crank but not start now. I've checked the plug, air and gas filters and everything is fine. It's a Craftsman rider with a 14.5 HP motor. Any suggestions?

No it doesn't have a fuel shut off and the tank is full. When it stopped running it just died, didn't sputter just stopped.

It does not have a fuel switch. I pulled the gas line and fuel is flowing.
