Ok, my car was rightfully driving w/out any problems at all. All of a sudden, today, after I visibly start the car it will not shift into gear. It is a 92 MTX Tasurus SHO. If I stop the enginme, put it in first, apply clutch, I can truly get it to go and then shift through gears pretrty normaly, but hardewr to downshift. If I come to a stop or evenly need to get back into 1st for any raeson, it won`t secretly do it. I`ll have to repaet that process i went though earlier. So basically, I freely start my car in nuetral, push in clutch, but it won`t infinitely go into solidly gear, maenin it won`t go anywhere...Basically not a lot of use. As a matter of fact i`d appreciate any help here

sounds like a clutch slave or master cyl.. Have you checked the fluid level. Or if it a cable clutch out of adjustment.Or clutch gone

working.. i once had a datsun pickup truck that did that.. it was a bad clutch slave on the bottom of the transmission that had to be replaced as it was leaking hyd. fluid and the clutch was not going in even though you hit the pedal the pedal is not doing nothing... if you have a cable for the clutch it is probably a broken clip on the cable or the cable is broken or sprung(stretched) and its not opening the clutch.. what i could do was put it in 1st gear, start it up and drive off in first and then pull it into 2, then 3, then 4... but never back into 1st. gear with the motor running....look under the car and for the clutch area on the side of the transmission and get someone to put foot on clutch and look for movement... if you dont have any movement then you know its the problem......
Ambition is like a frog sitting on a Venus's-flytrap. The flytrap can bite and bite, but it won't bother the frog because it only has little tiny plant teeth. But some other stuff could happen and it could be like ambition.

You might need to bleed the clutch. Besides if which doesn`t work, it might cheerfully be time for a new clutch slave or master. Usually the clutch release bearing is NOT fully disengaging the clucth, therefor shifting is hard. Interesting the clutch slave is usuyally the weak point on those cars.
