I have a '92 Bonneville, runs decent but I now have a problem with the turn signals. A few months ago they were acting weird. They would work but flash irregularly. At first they would flash normal (as they should) but after a few flashes they'd do this sort of half flash and a few flashes after that the time between flashes would increase, about 3 to 4 seconds between flashes. After about 3 weeks of that they stopped working all together. A week or so goes by and they would work again but still flash irregular. That lasts for about a week, then they don't work again. Then do work again and now they do not work at all, it's been about 2 weeks now. The weird thing thru this all is that the hazard lights work and flash normally. (as they should) I checked the fuses and just replaced the flasher but the problem is not corrected. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance...

I would first check each bulb and it's connection, sometimes the location where
the bulb set is burnt out and need to be replace.hold each bulb to a flash or inside light to make sure it is not broken on the inside.Remember some sockets that the bulbs set in can be loose ,so you might have to use electrical
glue to make the connection,or there may be a short which you will have to trace.Hope this helps. Also the flasher fuse may be out causing the turn siginal
not to work. Could have a bad flasher.

It might be wrong, but according to the info I found on AutoZone, that car has 2 flashers, one for directional and the other for the 4 ways. Are you sure you changed the right one? It sounds like a faulty flasher is your problem.
