tv repairs - samsung large format MODEL SP-56K3HX

hi, my first time here.

i have never posted before and would like help.

i have a large format samsung tv MODEL SP-56K3HX

it shuts down at irregular intervals and would like help with diagnosis. i have sourced a power suply for it and hope that replacement here will likely fix it. any clues anyone ? thanks so much. adrian.

Hi Adrian, welcome to the forum I am glad you joined us.

It is either that or it can be a high voltage discharge, I think. Hope the new power supply will solve the problem

thanks for quick response. i have read a bunch of stuff about the place on this same problem with samsung dlp sets. seems overheating and lamp door latch position are main issues. easy fixed if thats it. you have any idea if my model would be similar ? i have not yet opened it up to see if it has the blue door latch that everyone seems to be on about. hopefully that the problem. hope it helps someone else too. cheers.
