gentleman and ladies heres something i learned after twenty eight years trouble shooting tv for profit were money is the goal on home service.for example lets say your in a home on tv call you do not have a manual heres a clue .you know flyback supplies most of the b-plus supply correct. the power supplies is telling you what supply is and where.you know most tv are 12volt 5volt 33volt etc this is required to start tv on.here we go you locate flyback around this transformer theirs diodes all over this area.to convert pulseing dc then convert to smooth dc simple find the electrolitics capacitors look at the voltage rateing on the caps near the diodes know simply divide voltage rateing by two then the voltage should be what you come up with for example you see a cap with 16volts you divide by two which happens to be 8volts chances are its a9 volt supply so on and so forth so you know tuner has chances are 33volt 5afc 9volt supplies.collectors on video drivers on crt board are 12 to 14 volt supply.vertical is either 12volt to 44volt on some all this by memory of circuits i kept in the back of my mind, horizontal output collector could be max power supply or the highest supply voltage anywhere 14volt to 42 volts play it by ear. its not hard you know the routen you really do not need a print if your good at it and know your job.do it all the time every day repair with out a manual.no problem.this method also applies to wave forms by know with many years of trouble shooting just looking at a circuit board you can locate horizontal drivers vertical ics voltage regulators circuits etc.just use a scope a means to read voltage either built in scope or seprate my scope is tetronic with frq counter and volt/ohm built in potable.micro circuits and video jungle micro circuit are straight forward their either good or bad and you have to change to fix the problem anyway.to find video jungle go to crt board follow back to chassic and you will fine video circuit.these methods works for me.i just trying to point out a easy way to trouble shooting that might help some of your clients fix their tvs with buying expensive manuals form the mfg.

it means it stays on top of the index as long as it is sticky (it 'sticks' on top)
