I found the same question about vinyl siding but not brick. Our house is 4 years old and is about 75% brick. The contractor said he doesn't caulk around the windows (between windows & brick). Others say it should be done especially on the bottom to prevent water from getting inside. I don't have any idea. Second question. The plumbers used what I assume is silicone caulking around all the toilets at the floor and it is now discoloring. How do I clean it or does it have to be removed and re-caulked? If re-caulking is needed, what is best to use? I guess that could be considered 3 questions. Thanks

Hi bud, welcome to the forum here

I think caulking -especially with silicone- is a very good. I think you better remove the previous caulking and replace it with a fresh one
