Hi
we got an out door fire pit as a gift, but we lack in places to use it, and our only option would be a wooden deck. Is that a bad Idea? or how could be use it on the deck without it being completely hazardous?

Totally doable if done right. How to install it properly depends on the type of fire pit though. a description or pics would be good!

Did you ever think about getting a fire bowl? These are very small and still create a fire pit feel without going crazy and building a deck.
