Hi, thanks in advance for any answers!!!

I drive a jeep cherokee 1993 sport. 40,000 original miles.

ITwice now once around a corner, once just in the middle of a road it just dies. not violently or anything, just dies. All electrical works and I can instantly restart it and it goes. This doesnt happen often. I wondered if maybe its water in the gas or a fuel filter. not sure if i have one or two fuel filters, or if its in the gas tank. opeople seem to protect that kind of info for money on the net.

Anyway, like I said it starts right back up. its starts fine in cold weather, heats up normal, etc. I can say i have let it run out of gas a lot last year. it just... i m in school and gas is a killer and here in Wyoming everything is spread out. I have no excuses, lol, I just let it happen maybe 12-15 times last year.

Am i right to assume its could just be a fuel filter. I mean what are the other possibilities? i'm not stopping at the time. Going around the corner i was low on gas so i could see that.... but i wasnt empty... then a day or 2 later i filled it halfway and 3 blocks away was when it just died in the road as i was traveling along at like 20.

Anyway any ideas, all ideas, are appreciated please... a dead vehicle is the last thing i need right now!

Ian welcome to the forum here. I suggest you first do the following test, and that is to fill up your gas tank and change oils. If after that it still dies on you please let me know and we will look for solutions and the cause.
