Hi,

I have a Motorola Talkabout 6310. http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-T6310-AA-2-Way-Radio/dp/ B00004ZAMU
...that has a 700mAH 3.6V NiMH battery pack.

Can I make a battery pack with 3 higher capacity AA NiMH battery from here? http://www.batteryjunction.com/aaponiba.html
...and use the same charger?

The Motorola charger just clips onto the back of the radio and contacts 3 metal contacts on the battery pack. (+, T, -) through holes in the battery cover. What is T?
It looks like this: http://www.voltmanbatteries.com/servlet/the-741/COM- dsh-9395/Detail

If I can make my own "high capacity" battery pack, what connections would I have to make for it to be a "drop-in replacement". Or would the charger be incompatible for the new batteries?

Do all HiMH cells use the same charging circuit?
