Hey
I'm trying to let an axle from a small electric motor run freely through the wall of a model boat.
But, becuase there is water on the outside, of course it needs to be waterproofed. I can't find a way to do this, and I have limited supplies. I would rather not buy anything, and I need the maximum power possible because it is a speed boat. I also cant use magnets, because it will interfere with the other equipment on board. I am really stuck, and if any of u have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

diddledumdum welcome to the forum. If I get it right you look for a way to waterproof the axle you are having at your disposal now instead of wanting to buy a waterproof one? What makes you think the axle you have now is not waterproof?

basically, I want to do what that zen420 guy does, just the motor won't be underwater, the motor is one of those cheap tiny ones you can buy at Dick Smith electronics, the motor isn't submerged and i need to do it cheaply.

sorry that I can't explain things well, but this diagram might help
