i installed two wayne dalton torque master doors. the second door will not raise properly. when i raise the door, before getting to the top the cables become loose on the drums. increasing spring tension wont solve the problem. any solutions?????

Hi Beeachard, welcome to the forum You can lift the rails of your garage door and that should solve the problem

hi jeffie, i too am having the same problem. please explain about lifting the rails and how this solves the problem. we followed the instructions carefully and cannot get this door to work properly. the door goes up half way then the wires get all tangled up on the drums. we are thinking we will trash the torque spring and revert to old fashioned springs/pulleys and cable.

Hi mrtech, welcome to the forum I am happy you joined us.

Have you fiddled around with the setscrews already (either tightening them or loosening some up) - as this also could present a problem sometimes in torque springs....
