we are looking at Somerset wood flooring 3/4" solid oak. Some will be installed over crawl space area. We were told by a salesperson before that the wider you go on the wood (say 4 or 5 inch) the greater chance of it buckling. In your opinion would 3 inch work ok over crawl space area if you use the required mil plasic sheeting over ground?
