Where is the ignition module located on my 2000 ford contour 2.5l DOHC?

inside distributor have to remove from engine.drive out shear pin on gear at bottom pull up and out on whole shaft from top module mounted under rotor plate will not come out no other way. also before you go that far this model is noted for shear pin breaking gear just turning clean oil port on case poor oiling causing problem. check rotor position inside dist remember that so you can put back together.
highly recommend you hire this job at your local ford dealer you can damage engine if not done right.
gear position rotor position is critical has to do with timing i think this has a belt will break.
