Whirlpool gas dryer not turning on

Model GGC9858EQ0

We have full power to the unit and the timer works. When push the start button you can hear a relay click (one time) but that is all it does. When you open the door it will click again. You can then hit the start button again for another click. That is all we get out of it, no drum spinning etc.

dug into it and found a broken belt. Found out that this unit has a broken belt sensor that prevents anything from starting up.
Will report back after I replace belt.

Ok that is what the problem was. The ten old year dryer and is now kicking again.
