Yamaha RX-V663 7.1 Channels Receiver ; the video out no longer works. with either HDMI cable or RCA Jacks.. Is this port repairable?
apparently We had a lightening storm yesterday while I was at work.. IT blew all my TV's,Cable Boxes.. Except our big screen w/ powerprotect, which is where the Receiver was hooked up.. However it still affected it somehow b/c like amentioned above, No Video out .. so I can hear the TV but can't see it.
HELP..

No easy fix unless you were to get really really lucky

Short answer is that it probably is not worth it, and even if you were able to identify the failed components, there may be multiple failure points. or the board itself may be damaged from the surge. with pro labot, it'll (almost certainly) be more than the $300-350 to replace.

Here's an idea though, is it still under warranty?
