The sound output level on my Yamaha RX-V870 has gone down significantly. I can turn the sound level up to 70% and just barely hear sound. The light on the large volume knob is blinking but nothing in the Owner's Manual states what the blinking means. Anyone have any ideas?

If the light on your volume control is blinking - the mute is on. Turn the mute off with your remote and you'll hear your speakers.
